Scratching and rubbing
at a lesion
Scratched papula of a Lichen planus. Many neutrophile granulocytes
and subepidermal fibrin deposits play no part in the histopathological
picture of Lichen planus. Only a blurry junction area and
individual necrotic keratinocytes at the border area of the
excoriation point towards this diagnosis.
