Erythema chronicum migrans
Two biopsates of an erythema chronicum migrans, taken simultaneously.
The left biopsate originates at an inflamed seam and shows
signs that are typical of borreliosis (peri-vascular and inter-stitial
infiltrate with plasma-cell involvement). The right biopsate
originates at the pale-coloured centre and shows no pathological
changes of diagnostic value.
